Across MMOs Hits $725
SAN JOSE (Sept. 23, 2009) – Sometrics (http://www.sometrics.com) today announced that MMO gaming companies Atlus Online (http://www.atlusonline.com), Ndoors Interactive (http://www.ndoors.com) and ijji.com (http://www.ijji.com) will deploy the Sometrics Offer Solution to optimize revenue from virtual currency. Sometrics made the announcement at Engage Expo, here through September 24.
On the 24th at 2:30 p.m., Sometrics CEO Ian Swanson will participate in a panel discussion, “Leveraging Virtual Worlds to Engage and Monetize” http://www.engageexpo.com/sj2009/index.html.
Sometrics launched the industry’s first virtual currency platform last December, to help publishers manage all virtual currency monetization from multiple offer providers. Today, the company has a global reach with more than 4,000 ads across the network. Sometrics partners have seen a 15 percent lift through optimizing third-party virtual currency offer providers and ad networks.
“We’re powering the MMO space right now, partnering with a growing number of top-tier MMO clients, like Atlus Online, Ndoors Interactive and ijji.com,” said Swanson. “The world’s leading MMOs are choosing to work with Sometrics because our solution gets results – and that, in turn, is fueling our growth as a company.”
“There’s so much potential to engage users on a deeper level with rewards and virtual currency, and Sometrics has tapped into this by streamlining their offers and helping publishers manage them more efficiently,” said Jamie Ortiz, Head of Business Operations, Atlus Online. "The Sometrics Offer Solution will enable us to reach a wider player base and better monetize our free-to-play game." Atlus Online is the online interactive entertainment division of Atlus U.S.A., Inc., which publishes the fantasy-steampunk MMORPG Neo Steam: The Shattered Continent (http://neosteam.atlusonline.com/).
Sometrics’ Offer Solution enables publishers to deliver high-quality offers and surveys to their global gaming audiences with custom targeting and optimization. Through strong relationships and international offer expertise, Sometrics maintains a competitive inventory to ensure optimum conversion.
Since its introduction, Sometrics’ Offer Solution has achieved an average eCPM across MMOs of $725, and been embraced by a range of verticals in the space: social gaming, free-to-play MMOs, virtual worlds and casual gaming.
Sometrics also is working with such MMO clients as: K2 Network (http://k2network.net), Outspark (http://outspark.com), Saga (http://playsaga.com), and many others.
Using Sometrics’ solutions, game developers and publishers are able to see what’s going on across all offers and networks, see which audience demographics are responding to which offers, and direct traffic accordingly to optimize conversions and increase revenue.
Sometrics also offers a Payment Manager, which enables publishers to seamlessly integrate multiple offer providers in a single offer wall, manage everything from a central dashboard, and easily start multivariate testing with the option to use Sometrics' proprietary offer provider optimization for maximum revenue.
